HDPE foil - what is worth knowing?
HDPE stands for High-Density PolyEthylene (recycling triangle "02"). HDPE is ecological and biodegradable, considered (next to "05") to be the safest for health, it is used to make toys for children, and to pack dairy or cleaning products. This foil is non-toxic, has good mechanical strength, is resistant to compression and can withstand damage much better. It is resistant to the influence of water and salt, is impermeable to gases, moisture and impurities, has an increased melting point, which is 125 °C.
